Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is any treatment that involves repairing or restoring teeth. This can be done for cosmetic purposes and to remove decay which could become a potential source of pain. Cosmetic dentistry aims to improve the appearance of teeth which often leaves patients feeling more confident about their smile.

Teeth Whitening / Bleaching

We offer tooth whitening (bleaching) to our patients. We use “pola” which is a 6% hydrogen peroxide gel. This method is done at home by wearing plastic trays containing the whitening gel. This means that you have control over the shade and can stop using it when you are happy. You will need to top-up every so often to maintain your desired shade and you can buy individual whitening tubes separately. A dentist must prescribe whitening gel – it cannot simply be bought over the counter from us without the assessment and authorisation of a dentist. Teeth Whitening is a popular cosmetic dentistry treatment.
